Location: Paris (France)
Architects: F. Roux and E. Puzenat - 2/3/4/ Architecture
Construction type: new build
Installation system: wall cladding with backing structure (CWB)
Product: PAPYRUS
The head office of the “Réunion des Musées Nationaux” (national museum association) is in the 12th arrondissement of Paris. The building is triangular in shape and its light-coloured, cladding with subframe alternates between the smooth white of frosted glass and the light grey of the PAPYRUS facing (crinkled paper look).
Interesting fact: this cladding continues on the top of the building (roof covering), a perfect example of the building envelope or fifth facade concepts.
