The CAREA cladding with backing structure (CWB) for this multimedia library was installed using the RHODES insert facade facing, which gives its surface the appearance of slightly crumpled paper. The originality of this facade is not only down to this choice of look: the implementation and layout of the facade give the building a unique new aesthetic quality. Multiple diagonal lines run through the facing panels, for a modern and dynamic result.
The CAREA facing used at the wall bases of this public structure can withstand shocks, graffiti and scratches: it is thick, resistant and its mineral material is non-porous. The facade of the Les Mureaux media library will therefore be very low-maintenance during the life of the building.
